My tequila-based Keto AsterBerry cocktail only requires 5 simple ingredients and delivers a naturally refreshing, low-carb cocktail that, unlike many tequila recipes, is not too sweet. If you want a sweeter version, add a few drops of liquid Stevia at a time, stir and taste to your liking. The key to making this smooth is to use sparkling mineral water. Really try to get this as the minerals and natural carbonation nicely round out the spiciness of the tequila.
I use a handheld lemon squeezer to extract fresh juice from blackberries as it keeps seeds to a minimum, making straining less messy.
